Guilderton Country Club
I was so disappointed that staff at the club were so rude to me when I was there for what I was told should be a great night. The (who I now know) manager Janine was very unwelcoming and failed to explain the rules of the club when I unknowingly broke them. I would not recommend this stifled atmospheric club that seems to value money over service and small town clicks over professionalism. The food was also cold and subpar.

Excellent place to eat and have a drink. Food isn't served every day so check ahead. It's a country club so don't expect a la carte but it's good food.Oh. Jack Daniels cans are only 300mls. That was a bit disappointing.

It's a bit rough around the edges, fairway glass is a little long and there are no bunkers. However do not let this sway you away. It is probably the most beautiful course I have ever played. The clubhouse is on the edge of the inlet while the course is in the middle of the Karri forest. The 8th hole is particularly stunning with Karri trees lining both sides with a water hazard just below the tee off. The synthetic greens are also really consistent. I forgot I was playing on something different after a while. 20 times better than sand. I hope other country clubs take notice. The front 9 is particularly beautiful. It's just a great play to be.
